Founding Tutor.
Tam Visher
Tam graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Mathematics and Geophysics.
Passionate about math, he was introduced to the nuances of teaching it while working for Classroom Matters in Berkeley and The Brooklyn Math Tutors in Brooklyn. After six years of working with all ages, he is comfortable teaching all levels of math, physics, and the SAT/ACT tests. He enjoys teaching both fundamental and esoteric math through simplification and analogies to the real-world.
Outside of tutoring, Tam is a hobbyist musician and cook, and occasional surfer. On small days, you can find him at the market grabbing ingredients for culinary experience to invigorate his enervating composition attempts. On big days, you can find him in the tube at Westward Beach.
